The Halloween candy flower pot? What?!? Huh? OK, it’s not really a flower pot. It just looks like a lot of bloomed flowers so I went with it. I hope you will too!
I’m not big on decorating for Halloween or most other holidays except Christmas, but I was inspired by Pinterest (of course) to try this little piece of decor. You can find my inspiration here. She used her “Lollipop Tree” for a birthday party. I changed it up to match the holiday of my choice and so can you.
It’s super easy to make. I found it so easy, I made two.
Here’s What You Need:
A flower pot, a bucket, vase (You choose.)
Candy (Suckers are much easier to use, but any individually wrapped candy will work. I used toothpicks to secure the Reese’s cup to the Styrofoam ball. Also make sure you have enough candy to cover the ball.)
Styrofoam ball. (Make sure it will fit the base of your choosing.)
Here’s What You Do:
Place the Styrofoam ball in the base.
Start from either the top of the ball or the bottom (your choice) and work your way up or down placing the candy in the ball. (You could randomly place the candy in the ball, but you might end up with gaps.) I started from the bottom and made layers working my way up. I tried to make sure there were no gaps. It was easier to do with the suckers than the Reese’s.
