I am very excited to bring to you the second annual 12 Days of Christmas. This project began last year as a last-minute gift idea guide and because it was so successful it started this very blog you are reading now! I will feature 12 different holiday gift ideas and/or recipes with instructions. I hope you enjoy them and are inspired. Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Hannah and Harley.
This is one of those ideas that’s so easy and simple it’s almost silly. Silly, as in a why-didn’t-I-think-of that silly. It is that simple. All you need are a few different sized containers with lids (preferably glass, but clear PET plastic containers will work too), the fake trees you see in Christmas villages (you can find them at Wal-Mart in packages with several sized trees), and glitter for fake snow.
The trees have little stands on the bottom, so I taped that to the rim of the container and poured a generous amount of glitter into the container and placed the lid on. I placed the top of the container (with the lid) on the bottom of the table. I just liked the way it looked. You can do same thing with the container right side up. There’s no right or wrong way to do it. This makes great seasonal decor.
